What's Actually in a Beef Share?
A beef share isn't a box of random cuts — it's a proportional share of one animal, so you get the same mix of steaks, roasts, and ground beef that the whole animal produces.
Expect a mix across the major categories: steaks (ribeye, sirloin, strip, etc.), roasts (chuck, rump), ground beef (typically the largest share by weight), and specialty cuts like short ribs or stew meat.
Before processing, we send you a cut sheet so you can customize thickness, package sizes, and preferences like stew meat vs. extra roasts. Piedmont Custom Meats, our USDA-inspected processor, handles the butchering and packaging to your spec. Final payment is based on hanging weight, so pricing stays transparent — no surprise fees at pickup.
