How Much Freezer Space Do You Actually Need?

The most common question we get before someone reserves a share is: "Will this even fit in my freezer?" Here's a rough guide.

Eighth share: fits in a standard freezer-on-fridge compartment, alongside your normal groceries — good for smaller households trying bulk beef for the first time. Quarter share: needs roughly the space of a small chest freezer or a couple of shelves. Half share: usually calls for a dedicated chest freezer (5–7 cubic feet). Whole share: plan on a larger chest freezer (7+ cubic feet) — a serious stock-up for a large family or splitting with friends.
