Nonrefundable deposit for a half beef. 

 

When you purchase a half steer, you’re getting a half share of premium, 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef — custom cut, vacuum-sealed, and frozen for your freezer. Here’s a typical breakdown: 

Steaks — 30–38 lb total

  • Ribeye: 9–12 lb (≈ 5–7 steaks)

  • New York Strip: 9–12 lb (≈ 5–7 steaks)

  • Filet Mignon / Tenderloin: 3–5 lb (≈ 4–6 steaks)

  • Other premium steaks: 5–8 lb

Roasts — 45–55 lb total

  • Includes chuck, brisket, sirloin tip, rump, and London broil cuts.

Short Ribs & Brisket Ends — 12–18 lb

Ground Beef — 75–90 lb

Stew Meat — 5–7 lb

Bones & Fat — 20–30 lb
Organs (optional) — 5–10 lb

 

Weights and cuts vary slightly between animals and how you choose to have your beef cut (more steaks vs. more roasts, bone-in vs. boneless, etc.). Every steer is unique — that’s part of what makes buying direct from the farm special.

Pickup will be at the farm. We will contact you with directions and meet you there to help you load the meat. 

The remaining balance is due at pickup. 

A half beef share is priced at $10.00 per lb (hanging weight).
