A quarter beef share is made up of a pre-selected assortment of steaks, roasts and ground beef.
A quarter share gives you a little of everything — steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more — conveniently sized for most home freezers.
Steaks — 15–19 lb total
Ribeye: 4–6 lb (≈ 3–4 steaks)
New York Strip: 4–6 lb (≈ 3–4 steaks)
Filet Mignon / Tenderloin: 1.5–2.5 lb (≈ 2–3 steaks)
Other premium steaks: 2–4 lb
Roasts — 22–28 lb total
Chuck, rump, brisket, and sirloin tip roasts.
Short Ribs & Brisket Ends — 6–9 lb
Ground Beef — 37–45 lb
Stew Meat — 2–4 lb
Bones & Fat — 10–15 lb
Organs (optional) — 2–5 lb
Weights and cuts vary slightly between animals and how you choose to have your beef cut (more steaks vs. more roasts, bone-in vs. boneless, etc.). Every steer is unique — that’s part of what makes buying direct from the farm special.
Pickup will be at the farm. We will contact you with directions and meet you there to help you load the meat.
The remaining balance is due at pickup.
A quarter beef share is priced at $10.50 per lb (hanging weight).
